Because they don’t mind cool weather, Pansies and violas are some of the first flowers you can plant in garden the spring. They’re happy to be part of a border, work well as a ground cover or are happy to mix it up as part of a container.
They don’t really like it hot at all so ae great blooms for early spring and late fall. Not only do they not like the heat, they actually survive the cold really well and can bounce back from below freezing temperatures really well.
